Back to Aircraft Listings | | More Information about the FALCON 20C-5 Aircraft | | The Falcon 20C, or [Standard] was Dassaults first corporate aircraft design. Its sleek profile and high speed served to establish the Falcon reputation for good looks and high performance. However, its CF-700 motors were extremely fuel thirsty so in 1989 Garrett offered to retrofit any 20 series Falcon with their fuel miserly TFE-731 motor for about 3 to 3.6 million dollars. A 731 powered Falcon 20C-5 gains about 20 knots of speed, 2,650 lbs of gross takeoff weight, and nearly 800 miles of range. This aircraft can be RVSM certified when service bulletin SB-743 is complied with. | |
